Sessão I - Espaço de montagem
A primeira montagem de Lapidários: uma sessão expositiva e reprodutiva das pedras aconteceu nos dias 16 e 27 de julho de 2022, na Pinacoteca Barão de Santo Ângelo, no Instituto de Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, em Porto Alegre/RS, na ocasião da exposição resultante da disciplina Seminário de articulação de pesquisas prático-teóricas, ofertada no mesmo PPGAV, no primeiro semestre de 2022.
Reunidas e dispostas sobre uma longa mesa, as publicações foram, pela primeira vez, vistas e manuseadas pelo público. Neste momento, a persistência de uma reflexão artística e, poética, gráfica e editorial sobre as pedras cativou visitantes interessados, ao mesmo tempo que o próprio exercício, tanto da reunião das obras, de sua montagem e exposição reverberou como importante desdobramento para a discussão sobre publicações e práticas artísticas em torno da materialidade, do contexto e da leitura.
Ao final das atividades, foi produzida uma roda de compartilhamento, tendo como participantes os artistas participantes do projeto e residentes de Porto Alegre: Maria Ivone dos Santos, Michel Zózimo, Elaine Stankiwich, Daiana Schröpel, Aline Moraes, Marco Fioravante, Mariana Silva da Silva, Fercho Marquéz-Elul, Vicente Carcuchinski, Glaucis de Morais, Diego Passos, bem como Juliano Ventura, de Florianópolis/SC. Nesta ação, possibilitada pela liberação gradual de reuniões físicas durante a pandemia de covid-19, os artistas se apresentaram e brevemente expuseram sobre seus práticas poéticas, bem como seus processos de edição das publicações.

Session I - Installation space
The initial installment of Lapidários: uma sessão expositiva e reprodutiva das pedras [Lapidaries: an exhibitive and reproductive session of stones] was held on July 16 and 27, 2022, at Pinacoteca Barão de Santo Ângelo, at the Arts Institute at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in the city of Porto Alegre (in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), during the exhibition resulting from the course Seminário de articulação de pesquisas prático-teóricas, offered by the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts of the university in the first half of 2022.
Gathered and arranged on a long table, the publications were seen and handled by the public for the first time. At that moment, the persistence of an artistic and poetic, graphic and editorial reflection on the stones captivated interested visitors, while the very exercise, both of the gathering of the works and their assembly and exhibition, stood out as an important development for the discussion about publications and artistic practices around materiality, context, and reading.
At the end of the activities, a sharing session was held, with the artists involved in the project and residents of the city of Porto Alegre: Maria Ivone dos Santos, Michel Zózimo, Elaine Stankiwich, Daiana Schröpel, Aline Moraes, Marco Fioravante, Mariana Silva da Silva, Fercho Marquéz-Elul, Vicente Carcuchinski, Glaucis de Morais, and Diego Passos, as well as Juliano Ventura, from the city of Florianópolis (in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil). During this initiative, made possible by the gradual lifting of restrictions on in-person meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic, the artists introduced themselves and briefly discussed their poetic practices and the editing of their publications.
