Reuma

Reuma é constituída de dois blocos maciços moldados de glicerina colorida, entrepostos por um bloco de madeira envernizada. Dispostos diretamente no chão, os três elementos mantêm entre si uma distância mínima e precisa, instaurando um campo de tensão silenciosa. A madeira de caráter resistente tensiona o interior da relação entre os blocos de glicerina, produzindo tanto uma relação de continuidade e complementaridade, quanto de interrupção e assimetria.

Reuma [Rheum] consists of two solid molded blocks of colored glycerin, separated by a varnished wooden block. Placed directly on the floor, there is a minimal and precise distance between the three elements, establishing a field of silent tension. The resistance of the wood tensions the interior of the relationship between the glycerin blocks, producing both a relationship of continuity and complementarity, as well as interruption and asymmetry.
